Turning to house prices, the survey’s headline price
growth gauge posted a net balance of -68% in
August (falling from -55% in July), thereby marking the
most negative reading since February 2009. When
disaggregated, virtually all parts of the UK are now
seeing a relatively steep fall in house prices,
