'I say, I say son, we just don' gon' beat Alabama!' It may only be week 2 of the College Football season, but it's all kicking off around the world of the NCAA. A national giant has fallen to defeat, and despite us been in the time of the year when most of the games are lop-sided non conference fixtures, this week the survivors corner is full of teams who got punched in the face by plucky underdogs and were lucky to keep their records intact. And the MAC leads the way, in a bad way, in the upset corner for teams who did indeed get toppled by lesser opponents. Off the field storm clouds are gathering everywhere. At East Lansing where the first Head Coach casualty of the season threatens to spill over into a truly ugly ordeal, in the PAC 12 which is still reeling from the mass exodus of it's teams, and for the NCAA who have picked a BIG fight with UNC who are not short of allies coming in to back them up!
