In a very unique way, the LORD provided for Elijah during a drought and famine. Elijah drank from a brook and was fed by ravens supplying him with food. This was all necessary because the LORD first provided the drought to send a message to many who had turned their backs on the LORD and were following baal, the false god of rain. Even in such catastrophe, the LORD provides for soul's well-being to turn souls back to him.
