Dawn of the Dead (1978)

On this week's episode, Phillip is joined once again by Erik Clapp from Cinema Force on YouTube and Instagram, to talk about another movie from the list that Quentin Tarantino likes or recommends. This time they talk about the 1978 George Romero classic Dawn of the Dead. You can find Cinema Force at https://www.youtube.com/@cinemaforce1 Phillip starts the show with the "Tarantino Talks" segment, and by plays a little audio of Tarantino giving a Mastermind Award to George Romero at the SPIKE awards in 2009. A radio spot is then played for Dawn of the Dead. It's then time for Phillip to read all the general information about the movie. Then it's time to read listener opinions from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. They then discuss the movie and all the little facts to go with it. Phillip then reads a couple of reviews. They answer the question of whether they noticed anything that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. It's then time for Phillip and Erik to give their individual rating for the film. Then they answer the question of whether they would buy, rent, or find this movie for free. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Sly (2023).
