After a week off, we're back with another ominous week!
In the first part, Karina talks to us about the famous legend La Llorona known throughout all parts of Mexico. We learn about her possible tie to Mayan culture and the version that we all know today. As well as re-tell the personal encounters from the radio station La Mano Peluda and from our own family.
In the second part, Jessica will go over the case of Maria Trinidad Ramírez also known as La tamalera de Portales. In the early 1970s, Maria was known as the women who killed and cooked her husband and later made tamales out of his meat to sale. This case was well known in Mexico. Many were scared to eat tamales out of fear that they were eating human meat.
