Tyreek Hill Runs Wild, Defense Dominates in Miami's 45-15 Win Over Washington
It took the Miami Dolphins three plays to go 80-plus plays and score on the offense's opening drive — that's where we begin the podcast. Tua Tagovailoa connected with Tyreek Hill for two 60-plus touchdown passes in the first half of Sunday's game. Washington's defense had virtually no answers for Hill, who needs just over 500 receiving yards to pass 2,000 on the season.
The Dolphins lost Jaelan Phillips for the year, but Andrew Van Ginkel — with a first-quarter pick-6 — and Emmanuel Ogbah kept Miami's defense humming for a third-straight week of allowing less than 20 points. Vic Fangio's unit continues improving, and we also note an interesting player workout the Dolphins plan on working out later this week.
We wrap the show by embracing that, at least for now, YOUR Miami Dolphins are the top seed in the AFC.
