One of his well-known works is "The Only Mom," a Burmese horror film released in 2019. The movie, starring Nine Nine, Wutt Hmone Shwe Yi, Daung, and Pyae Pyae, was produced by Brave Empire Film Production. It premiered in Myanmar on February 8, 2019, and became one of the highest-grossing Burmese films of the year. "The Only Mom" was exhibited in Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and other countries. The film was well-received for its horror elements and the performances of its actors. It earned significant box office revenue, grossing $4.8 million worldwide.
Another notable film directed by Ketnust is "From Bangkok to Mandalay," a collaborative film between Myanmar and Thailand. Released in 2016, it starred Sai Sai Kham Leng, Pilaiporn Supinchompoo, Nay Toe, and Wutt Hmone Shwe Yi. The screenplay was co-written by Ketnust and Pattana Chirawong. This film explores themes of love across different classes and was inspired by the novel "Pisat" by Seni Saowaphong.
Chartchai Ketnust's work, particularly in the horror genre, has contributed significantly to the Burmese film industry, and his films have been recognized for their commercial success and artistic merit.
