How to Ask for Help- Part I - THE SMART WAY!

A dumb question, is the one that you don’t ask.  Usually, if you don’t ask, you don’t receive. Very few people know how or where to ask for help.  Why do we hesitate? If you fall in a pit in a jungle, probably only thing you’ll scream is ‘HELP’. It’s a different thing that only the tiger will hear it. But we hesitate  because of the is social conditioning. Somewhere along the way, we learn that asking for help is weakness, that you should be strong or at least *look* strong. So we are embarrassed or we fear rejection. We feel we’ll look stupid or weak asking for help. At some point of time, we all need of something from someone. This something could be information, assistance, support, money or time from someone else. Have you asked for it? And if you have, have you asked it effectively? If someone tells me 'I would be happy if I had more money', I would happily give them $1 and ask them ‘Now you have more money, are you happy?’  After that initial confused, and then amused reaction, he usually gets the drift but it is true that vague requests for help, have vague outcomes.
