Elizabeth is at it again! A few weeks ago, our taste test focused on raw onions, a common food, but something that Michael had never eaten. This week, a staple of Mediterranean cooking is Dolmas, or stuffed grape leaves. If you haven't tried it, a tender grape leaf is stuffed with flavored rice or meats and then rolled and cooked.
Since it can be difficult to find in the stores (outside of Athens, of course) Elizabeth ordered several different brands and had them shipped to us.
While it was the first time Michael tried it, it won't be the last!
