Former TCU football coach Gary Patterson will become a consultant at Baylor in 2024. Private universities Baylor and TCU have a seriously intense rivalry. Baylor in Waco, Texas, is about an hour and 20 minutes away from Texas Christian University up Interstate 35 in Fort Worth. Patterson was 9-4 as head coach at TCU against Baylor. Patterson won 113 times in 172 conference games at TCU. Overall, Patterson was 181-79 as winningest head coach of the Horned Frogs. He was 11-6 in bowl games as head coach.
