Session 35 - OA Hips, THRs, Dos, Don'ts & Maybes with Toby Smith
Toby Smith is a Physiotherapy lecturer at UEA, clinician in trauma and orthopaedics at Norfork and Norwich University Hospitals and a key researcher in the field of physical activity and health, most recently investigating activity levels before and after large joint replacements. Toby is also the second TPMP guest to tolerate Jack in one take as session 35's recording is just one big conversation around all things OA Hip. Jack and Toby discuss pathology causation, conservative management, when to list for THR, post operative hip precautions and the complicated practical issues around BMI, age and attitude.
