A born leader, Lee-Anne has really stepped into this role as the Founder and CEO of a health and fitness membership that is taking the world by storm. Starting with a 20+ year career supporting people with disabilities in a variety of capacities and moving to open a brick and mortar yoga studio, Lee-Anne's big vision for helping people was still unclear. As she pivoted to a virtual platform through the pandemic, an opportunity to work with organizations in offering wellness options to their employees emerged and Lee-Anne was eager to learn. Lee-Anne saw barriers in accessing movement she could remove for people with disabilities and opportunities to bring people with and without disabilities together (community - something our entire world is looking for). Lee-Anne is a true creative, a strategic expert, a big thinker, and she will encourage you to do and be the same. Now a sought after speaker, a wellness expert, a disruptor in the fitness industry and a thought leader, Lee-Anne is excited to see where Sekond Skin Society will take her next.

We acknowledge that what we call Alberta is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. Namely: the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuu T’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta. This includes the Métis Settlements and the Six Regions of the Métis Nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Metis Homeland. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
