#146 - Correcting Movement Mechanics with Aleena Kanner

Aleena Kanner is a Postural Restoration Trained clinician with a big passion and interest in treating and helping individuals understand their mechanics. Aleena and Eric discuss recognizing poor patterns, how people get stuck and how to treat them. 

Permanent changes to the way the human body operates can have a big downside, and worsen symptoms or create new ones. Things such as permanent retainers, lasik eye surgery, orthotics or relying on a certain shoe to fix patterns can make things worse. 

She is a former athletic trainer who works solely with individuals, getting them out of pain, more functional, and feeling better. Aleena has gone through the course work of the Postural Restoration Institute to earn her certification and continues to learn through the institute.
