Returning to HYROX after serious illness – Sarah Holden

Sarah Holden returns to the show to discuss the ups and downs of the last 12 months. After struggling with a calf injury late last season, Sarah's health took a turn for the worse in October 2023 when she discovered she had a pulmonary embolism (PE). PE is a serious and sometimes fatal health condition.

We discuss with Sarah the circumstances leading up to discovering the PE, her recovery and her return to racing at HYROX Glasgow. We also chat about what's next for her and how she got on with the Crossfit Open.
