To celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Month, the Disney Desk covers one of the Studio's most recent Disney Princesses and their foray into Southeast Asian culture. Raya and the Last Dragon caught the tail end of pre-vaccine Covid, and was largely relegated to Premier Acess on Disney+, leaving the movie with a somewhat quiet cultural footprint.
