Are women really to be silent in all church affairs? Have we taken 2 passages in letters written to the church and created generation after generation of women being silent in kingdom advancement. Laurie knows there are exceptions out there and there are women fighting for God's order and Christ's salvation, but what about all of those who have put on head coverings of named inadequacies because, they've been taught, the battle doesn't belong to Lord who has equipped women but the battle belongs to the men who sit in church boardrooms behind closed doors.
Taking risks and challenging long-held doctrines, Laurie doesn't advocate for women to take over a man's role in church affairs, but rather for women to step into their God-given spiritual gifts and affect change in the world.
Hang on - it's a theological breakdown.
