Hans Schmidt, an apparently ordinary Catholic priest during the turn of the century, concealed a sinister secret beneath his pious facade. Born in Aschaffenberg, Germany in 1881, Schmidt was ordained as a Catholic priest in 1906. Following his religious duties in his home country, he was dispatched to the United States in 1909, making a brief stop in Louisville, KY, before ultimately settling at St. Bonaface's Parish in New York, NY.
