House of Earth and Blood: Chapters 31-37 (Part 1)

This season, Jac and Amy conduct a literary analysis of Sara J Maas' book Crescent City: House of Earth and Blood! This is Part 1 of Episode 7.

Hunt’s shock at seeing his former captor forces Bryce to step in to do what she does best: Distract. After catching the attention of Micah, Bryce dismisses the governor’s advances, causing him to lash out at Hunt. In an effort to find whoever is behind the missing Horn, Hunt visits the Oracle, where he is warned to stay away from Bryce. The warning only brings Bryce and Hunt closer together as they prepare to finally see Briggs in person. The meeting does not go according to plan, and only Bryce is able to help Hunt get out of his head and his spiral of self-hatred. A quick meeting with Ruhn and his friends has Bryce showing off her firearm skills for Hunt, where things get tense and heated.
