Take your power back! Stop accepting your depression and anxiety

When you feel like hot garbage when you open your eyes try this: "I do not accept this. I do not choose to feel this way." Then get up and go about your day. It may not change your feelings in the moment but denying your depression and anxiety by stating that you no longer "accept" it, is the starting point of taking your power back. You are NOT your emotions. You can feel them without accepting them. Many folks stay in stuck in a rut of depression and anxiety for years simply because they accept it. You don't have to accept it.
