As God promised Zacharias and Elizabeth, that they would give birth to John, the word of God was fulfilled. The forerunner to Christ was born and would enter a ministry making straight the pathway for the Lord, Jesus. This would open the door for all mankind to have salvation from sin and the plan of redemption would be accomplished.
