Marie France Montpetit is a Canadian serial entrepreneur, investor and business coach. She is the co-founder and former CEO of the Market Gardener Institute, Growers & Co. and Heirloom, an ecosystem of companies empowering thousands of small-scale regenerative farmers ailing from 86 countries to succeed in their agrarian adventures.

I first came across Marie while working at Thinkific.com, the online course creation company. We talked about Marie's company Market Gardener every week in our company all-hands. Their ability to train small scale farmes all over the world was a complete chrystalisation of how Thinkific.com could positively impact the world by giving more people access tovital education, regardless of where they are in the world.

I got a lot out of this conversation, in terms of building trust online, the power of community building for social impact, and the positive legacy that can be facilitated through commerce.

In the last decade, she has leveraged the power of the Internet to generate over 10 millions in sales of online courses, audiences in the millions and inspiring real-world agricultural policy change. She is now helping with a new generation of thought leaders aiming to make the world a better place to succeed on their own terms.
