The Dodgers lost to the Giants on a night in which they got their first run in the 1st inning but their first hit in the 7th inning. The injuries and lack of length from the starting pitching finally caught up to the Dodgers as they fielded a lineup of inconsistency and stuck with Yohan Ramirez in a spot where they wouldn't have with a fully rested bullpen. Miguel Rojas was placed on the IL before the game, Chris Taylor was placed on the IL after the game, and Nick Ahmed was inserted from the street into the starting lineup.
