Blaz graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 2012 and finished Ranger School a year later. After leaving the military he became a production manager of a whole plant, leading 120 associates producing overvoltage protection. He then continued his journey as an IT consultant and Project manager.

After taking a career break, he became the Head of Operations in Slovenia for a food delivery company, setting up operations from scratch and enabling a fast growth of 49x within 3 months. 6 months later he became the Regional Operations Director of 8 countries.
