Los Angeles County is home to the largest urban Native American population, second to New York City. With the COVID-19 Pandemic encroaching upon three years, and Native Americans disproportionately impacted both in COVID-19 case and mortality rates and rising depression and more people struggling to maintain cultural traditional practices away from their traditional homelands, we spend the entire hour on Indigenous wellness, healing, and the many complications in providing the necessary services to the larger urban Los Angeles Indigenous community.
