Finding your "why" - it's a topic that we talked about with Lance Mindheim, and now one of his biggest fans, Joe Mammay, returns to the show to talk about finding his with a new railroad, location and track plan as the Lamoille Valley gives way for the Norfolk Southern C&F Secondary. Joe shares how he learned of this line and how a recent railfanning trip to it solidified his decision. In addition, Joe talks about making this layout acheivable and how he made difficult choices in what to incorporate into the operating plan.
