FMOOD 0010: The Freeze Factor

No, I'm not talking about the current colder temperatures. What I am talking about is the freeze that happens when we take a look at the big picture and finally realize just how much debt we're really in. It causes this strange phenomenon called the freeze factor. You freeze in your tracks. You get deflated. You immediately want to just give up and just stay in debt because the road ahead looks way too difficult.   Don't get scared right out of the gate. Even if things seem to be a bit overwhelming right now, the good news is that once you get in control of the situation, you will improve on this. Take a deep breath and realize that you are working towards an important goal. This goal to get completely out of debt may seem huge, and that's why the smart thing is to break it up into smaller, more manageable chunks. Celebrate the small wins when you do accomplish a smaller goal in order to stay motivated.
