The segment continues by highlighting just how common sports betting scandals are becoming...Jontay Porter, Temple basketball...etc.
Dan and Mike both share more of their thoughts on the Dartmouth men’s basketball team attempting to form the first college athlete union, arguing they were employees under labor law due to their revenue-generating roles. Although the effort was withdrawn, it fueled national debates about athlete rights and the future of collegiate sports.
Which we cover mightily on the $2.8 billion House v. NCAA settlement that allowed schools to share athletic revenue with players.
