The Detroit Pistons triumphed over the Atlanta Hawks in a thrilling matchup at State Farm Arena, securing a 114-104 victory. Cade Cunningham led the charge for the Detroit Pistons with an impressive performance, scoring 29 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists. His outstanding play was complemented by Ausar Thompson, who added 16 points and played formidable defense, contributing three steals. Jalen Duren also made his presence felt in the paint with a double-double, scoring 14 points and snagging 12 rebounds. Despite a valiant effort from Dyson Daniels, who scored 20 points and pulled down 10 boards for the Hawks, the relentless pace and efficiency of the Pistons proved too much.
