David Faber and Jim Cramer started the show with a look at the markets on this shortened trading week, with the S&P nearing another record high. The desk then brought in Megan Cassella, who joined the program live from the White House. She broke down the latest in D.C. including a top Social Security official resigning after clashing with Elon Musk’s DOGE over data access. Later in the hour, the desk discussed Chinese President Xi holding a rare meeting with top business leaders, which included Alibaba’s Jack Ma. Also in the mix: Southwest Airlines announced it will slash 15% of its corporate workforce.
