Ilia Topuria Says the UFC Promised Him a Title Fight?! But I Want to See Oliveira vs. Topuria First!

On today’s episode, I’ve been saying for a while that Conor McGregor is done with the UFC, but something he said recently made that clearer than ever for me. Then, Ilia Topuria claims the UFC has promised him a title fight. I believe him, but I can’t help but wonder why they would make him that promise . And, both Topuria and Charles Oliveira want a crack at Islam Makhachev next—but what I really want is Topuria vs. Oliveira for the #1 contender.

Elsewhere, Joe Pyfer is not happy after apparent food poisoning forced him to withdraw from his fight at the last minute at UFC Mexico City. Plus, whether Jon Jones fights Tom Aspinall tomorrow or six months from now, I believe the outcome will be the same. So is Jones just trying to prolong his career?

Also, I need to set the record straight on the scam we were told about the balance between the physical and mental sides of sports. And finally, Wyatt Hendrickson has been named the Hodge Trophy winner as the top college wrestler in the country.
