Furry hands. Furry feet. Sharp teeth.
What has all of those things in common? Normal, everyday Beavers, of course.
Or, if you ask Mary Brown – Witches. Specifically, The Blair Witch. The Blair Witch that tried to kidnap her as a child.
Now - to be fair, we’re pretty certain that Mary Brown also has all of the cats Massachusetts has available for adoption and that she’s super close with that actress that played George Hardy’s wife in Troll 2 who went totally apeshit after the film tanked. So – maybe her word isn’t really one to be taken seriously, but – we’re not here to judge.
That’s right, Creeps – this week, join us on an expedition into the vast nothingness that is the Massachusetts woods as we seek out the TRUTH behind the Blair Witch haunting.
Armed only with our trusty camera and a map that mysteriously washed ashore on a river bed (who throws away maps, honestly?) we venture into the wilderness to talk to you about the 1999 found footage classic, The Blair Witch Project.
As per usual, we discuss the plot, the extraordinarily entertaining backstory and viral marketing campaign behind the film, and the American Bell Witch haunting that inspired the whole damn thing.
All that plus this week’s installment of Horrorfied News and Tales of the Strange and Unnatural.
So, for the love of God, don’t split up, don’t EVER shut off the camera, and keep heading North toward this teeth-shattering episode of The Horrorfied Podcast.
Enjoy!
