One Man's Goal to Bring Clean Water to Africa
Welcome to The Early Days Podcast - a show about the hustle, the excitement, and doubts, the successes, and failures, the ups and downs of building a business from scratch.
My name is Marin Gerov and with my co-founder Julian Samarjiev, we interview fellow entrepreneurs about their experience of starting businesses. As we are building our own apparel company, and documenting our early days, we wanted to go behind the scenes with other entrepreneurs and find out what their early days, weeks, months, and years were like.
Our guest today is Nhat Vuong - founder of Water Inception. Water Inception is an organization dedicated to helping refugees in Libya by providing them an atmospheric water generator that will produce 400 liters per day of fresh, clean, drinkable water. Nhat is himself a former Vietnam refugee who grew up in Switzerland.
In our conversation, we go behind the scenes to learn the backstory and the why behind Water Inception, the technology powering this innovation, how they are marketing, and financing the initiative with crowdfunding.
Water Inception is still in its crowdfunding stage. Go over to waterinception.org and check out the project and support Nhat on this impressive and ambitious journey.
