A week ago I dropped off my 21.5 inch 2017 iMac with Geek Squad here in Prescott AZ. The system was booting up super slow, hanging up, crashing when more than one program was on, and making sizzling electric sounds randomly from the speakers. I purchased the iMac at Best Buy less than a year ago, and also purchased the Apple Care as well. The agent saw the computer was booting super slow (more than 5 minutes and a few extra minutes before you could open programs) and made the decision to send it off for repair.
Apparently, whoever the computer was sent to has super powers. They booted, diagnosed, and repaired my computer in under 1 minute. That's right, 1 minute. I want their super powers!
Is the system really repaired? Does Apple care more about their iPhone and iPad customers than their computer customers? We'll find out soon.
