Henri-Pierre Pellegrin (aka H-Pi) - Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner
Henri-Pierre Pellegrin, aka H-Pi or HPi, is a french composer/producer and sound designer, best known for his work in video games (STYX 1 & 2, Trackmania). He as worked in-house composer with Gameloft and also the Game Audio Factory. A fragment of his work is used in the movie ELLE by Paul Verhoeven. BRAVE FRONTIER: THE LAST SUMMONER is one of H-Pi’s most recent video game projects.
Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner is an original, full-fledged mobile JRPG set in the Brave Frontier extended universe. You embark on a fantastic adventure in a new branch of the story set a thousand years after Brave Frontier, leaving Grand Gaia behind. In this standalone adventure, players will meet a new cast of characters as they unravel the mysteries of a new world. This new addition to the Brave Frontier franchise was crafted with a splendid state-of-the-art HD 2D design, bringing all character artworks to life like never before.
In this episode, H-Pi, talks about his score's connections to the original Brave Frontier, and shares a curious story regarding the score’s lead violinist, who's surname was one of most famous names in the world of Japanese gaming - "Kojima." Lastly, Henri-Pierre reveals the origin behind the his pseudonym, H-Pi.
