The twelfth Remark Back to Mine installment. The journey continues with part two of a very special soundscape. This episode is an exclusive three hour voyage featuring the music from Iceland’s extraordinary post-rock Sigur Rós. Picking up where the previous episode Jökull left off, this intense session — called Snjóflóð (which means avalanche in Icelandic) — starts gently and then aggressively collapses through their entire discography, from 1997’s “Von” to 2013’s “Kveikur”. The peaks and valleys are extreme at times, with the audio banging its way through their more anxious, moody, and intense tracks. As with all Remark Back to Mine sessions, it’s one continuous aural narrative: sonically ebbing and flowing for three hours. So put headphones on and immerse yourself in the magic that is Sigur Rós...
