I’m a recovering people-pleaser. I will never say I “used to be” a people pleaser because I believe it is something that will come up from time to time - just like any other addiction.
I have done things to fight it. To grow. To learn. But the nagging feeling will always be there.
Just recently I thought I had overcome it. I thought I was safe. But I still had more to learn.
I found myself feeling “not good enough”, struggling to come up for air, fighting the waves of emotions that come with trying to please others instead of living in my own truth and identity so I decided to share it on this podcast episode.
