Amy Berger has a master’s degree in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and is also a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS).
She is the author of “The Alzheimer’s Antidote: Using a Low-Carb, High-Fat Diet to Fight Alzheimer’s Disease, Memory Loss, and Cognitive Decline.”
Her specific areas of interest include using low carb and ketogenic diets as nutritional therapies for diabetes (both type 2 and type 1), obesity, PCOS, migraines, acid reflux/GERD, cardiovascular disease, and neurological & neurodegenerative disorders (such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy).
