Finishing Move is an award winning production company composing music and sound design for games, television, film and ad campaigns. Principal composers Brian Trifon and Brian Lee White craft emotionally connected sonics for the world’s finest brands and media.
Finishing Move have written music from video games such as: Halo Wars 2 franchise, the Anki Overdrive game series, Massive Chalice and Dropchord. They have also contributed to films such as Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Catch and Release, and Stealth.
Crackdown 3 from Xbox Game Studios is a 2019 video game developed by Sumo Digital, Cloudgine, Reagent Games, Certain Affinity, Ruffian Games. In the game you play a super-powered Agent in the a sandbox of mayhem and destruction.
You can explore the heights of a futuristic city, race through the streets in a transforming vehicle, and use your powerful abilities to stop a ruthless criminal empire. Crackdown 3 delivers cooperative mayhem and an all-new multiplayer mode where destruction is your ultimate weapon powered by Microsoft Cloud.
In this episode, Brian Trifon and Brian Lee White reveal the origin story behind their production team, Finishing Move. They talk about how and why, for Crackdown 3, they wrote full tracks first and extracted the needed musical stingers to be used throughout the game from those full pieces. Finishing Move take us deep into four tracks from Crackdown 3 including the headline track "Jaxon's Jam" and reveal where you can find a special version of the track within the game.
