In 2015, Alice Butler-Short founded Virginia Women for Trump. It grew from 22 women meeting in her living room to a “movement” of thousands of women all across the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond. The “movement” now has affiliated organizations in thirteen other states under the Mothership - Virginia Women for Trump and are striving toward having Directors in all 50 states by the end of this year.
Virginia Women for Trump was founded to bring women of all ethnic backgrounds together as Americans for Trump and to debunk the media myth that he was disliked by women. Alice has been interviewed by media all over the world from Australia to Asia, the Middle East, South America, Central America and every country in Europe.
Virginia Women for Trump are energized and ready to hit the ground running to give President Trump an unprecedented landslide in 2020. In the meantime, they are meeting, reaching out, educating and using the Trump model of connecting on a personal level with Americans of all backgrounds and ethnicities.
