We are here to telling stories about what Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS) has meant to us and our guests. The conversations are around the trails, the challenges, the outcomes, and the lessons learned.
The conversations are real, raw and uncensored from both the survivor and caregiver perspectives.
Through the podcast we aim to:
In today's episode we explore setbacks. The types that felt like two steps forward, one step back.
We thought it would be good to speak to it today as Terry just recently had to deal with one that really took the wind from her sails for about a week.
We explore many other big setbacks such as Terry's broken ankle and her realization that she wasn't going to be able to teach. What happened and how did that slow her recovery process?
It is very common for concussed folks to have setbacks at times. What we have learned is to anticipate them and recognize them. From there we can address and get through it quicker.
We also touch on some positive things that have grown out of the setbacks Terry has experienced.
Please note that Terry and Drew are not medical professionals nor should their perspectives be taken as medical advice.
