A human-rights activist in the United Arab Emirates received a suspicious text message with a link on his iPhone. He sent it to Citizen Lab, an internet watchdog and exposed a powerful new piece of eavesdropping software. The software had the power to take over his iPhone: listen in on calls, harvest messages, activate his camera and microphone and drain its personal data. After more than 75 years, has the secret recipe for Kentucky fried chicken been revealed? Chicago Tribute writer, Jay Jones interviewed Colonel Sanders’ nephew, Joe Ledington. Ledington brought along a family scrapbook and was reminiscing about his uncle. IN the scrapbook, they found the last will and testament of his aunt (the colonel’s 2nd wife) and there was a recipe handwritten on the back of it. The Tribune published the recipe –KFC’s parent company didn’t confirm or deny the authenticity of the recipe. This recipe was tested and was said to be almost identical. Ryan Lochte has landed a new sponsorship after he admitted to lying about being robbed at gunpoint in Rio during the Olympics. Pine Brothers cough drops have signed the Olympic swimmer saying that everyone deserves a second chance. Lochte will appear in a series of print ads and a commercial that states “Pine Brothers Softish Throat Drops: Forgiving your Throat”. The Olympian is also said to be in talks to appear in the next season of Dancing with the Stars. Should we be so quick to forgive Ryan Lochte?
