A few years back, I had a green dress that I absolutely loved! It was a Kelly Green color just like this top and dress. I don't own a lot of items in this color. However, when I do, I wear them over and over again.
I am always on the hunt for items that are colorful and versatile. More specifically, ones that can be worn for work and weekend. Both of these pieces in this color meet that criteria.
Why Green? This shade of green is vibrant and perfect for spring and summer. Remember we talked about planning your wardrobe for those two seasons in a previous post, right? So, this is a color that will definitely fit with the rest of those warmer weather pieces you have.
“For many people it has strong associations with nature and immediately brings to mind the lush green of grass, trees, and forests. Perhaps because green is so heavily associated with nature, it is often described as a refreshing and tranquil color.”
Source: Very Well Mind Add a Neutral or a Pop of ColorAdditionally, I like this color since it can be worn with a range of colors from neutrals to shades that will pop. You can see it with a neutral in this post here. Similarly, it can be paired up with white, like I did with this top. Also, it can matched with yellow as I did with this dress. I think hot pink is a fun combo as well.
Not all greens are created equalNow, I want to mention something about green before we continue. Although I can wear this shade, I can't wear every shade. For instance, some just doesn't work with my complexion. So, pay attention to what shade works best for you and makes you feel dynamite.
Alright, let's get into these two items:
