Sheila Tejada was born and raised in Southern California. Her parents came to America from the Philippines with one suitcase to their name. From her parents, Sheila grew up learning how to take risks, work hard and follow her dreams.
She recently filmed a comedic spot on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" opposite Guillermo, Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick. Also, she is shooting another comedic role in the Urbanflix series, "Casting the Net."
Sheila was a principal character in multi-award winning indie comedy feature (32 festival wins) "Driving While Black" and acted opposite of Denise Crosby ("The Walking Dead") in Showtime's acclaimed series, "Ray Donovan."
She is a stage trained actress and has a B.A. in Drama from UC Irvine and was awarded with the Claire Trevor School of the Arts award. She continues to study the craft with master acting coaches, Risa Bramon Garcia, Stan Kirsch, Billy O'Leary, and at the Margie Haber Studio. Sheila was Miss Cerritos 2008 and is also a professional singer. She was a finalist in MTV's Little Talent Show when she was 19 years old. In addition to acting and singing, she enjoys performing stand-up comedy at Flappers, Burbank.
