James Davis and Doug Norrie are back to break down their cash game plays for week 6 on FanDuel and DraftKings.
Quarterback is looking like a healthy position this week, with great options across multiple price tiers. Whether you want to go cheaper with Kyler Murray in what should be a high-flying game with Atlanta, or want to pay up for more established options like Deshaun Watson or Lamar Jackson, you don't need to build your whole lineup around any given quarterback, leaving you flexibility elsewhere.
Running back is where things get interesting. The guys agree that Dalvin Cook is probably the safest guy on the board, but then dive into a discussion about the relative safety of some cheaper options. With RBs like Fournette and Bell gobbling up usage at incredible rates in relatively bad offenses, does it make sense to pay down for them and apply your savings elsewhere? Can we go back to the David Johnson well? There's a chance DFSR winds up being off the chalk this week.
Wide receiver has a few lock solid chalk options like Michael Thomas and Cooper Kupp, who are lapping the field when it comes to target share this season. After those two, the waters get a little murkier. Can Will Fuller be trusted after his huge week? What about the two Arizona receivers? Finding a solid WR3 might be tough from a cash game perspective.
Tight end looks like it could be a trap position this week. With Travis Kelce leading in Fanshare's "buzz" category, it looks like people might be talking themselves into paying up at a weak position. Doug and James discuss how poorly that's worked out all season, and offer some good alternatives in their place.
Did you know that DFSR is celebrating their 8-2 start to the season with a one time offer of $82 for the rest of the NFL season? It's true! Head on over to https://www.dailyfantasysportsrankings.com/deals to learn more.
