Doug and James are back, breaking down their cash game plays for week 9 in the wild world of NFL DFS. With just a 9 game main slate, the picks are all at once looking pretty straightforward and a little bit terrifying.
Russell Wilson is jumping to the top of the DFSR optimal lineups this week on the back of a nice match-up against a Tampa Bay defense that dedicates itself to stopping the run. Aaron Rodgers is an interesting 1b option, with an absolutely incredible last two weeks of fantasy production.
Running back is looking fairly clear, with Jaylen Samuels likely filling in for James Conner, Dalvin Cook as the highest usage guy in a great match-up, and even a little Le'Veon Bell sprinkled in against this historically bad Dolphins defense.
The guys get a little heated over wide receiver, where there are almost no safe plays to be seen. Can we trust cheaper options like Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel, DJ Moore, and John Brown? James and Doug disagree, with great points being made on both sides.
Tight end is an abomination this week. With Kittle, Engram, Hooper, and Eifert off the main slate, we're left with precious few options to run out this week. It sure looks like Jonnu Smith at $3,800 will make the cut on DraftKings. But is he viable on FanDuel? Take a listen and find out.
