...And we are back with a BANG! Welcome everyone, to Season 3 of #DefenderCast!
To begin with, we are proud to announce that Season 3 of #DefenderCast will be sponsored by TAB. in collaboration with Bridging & Commercial Magazine. Also, all of the episodes in the upcoming season have been recorded LIVE at The Finance Professional Show in Olympia, London on Wednesday 6th November 2019.
Season 3 will be hosted by Duncan Kreeger, Founder of TAB. and will also feature co-hosts Nick Russell of TAB. Lending and Beth Fisher of B&C Magazine.
The first episode of the season features the amazing, Beth Fisher of B&C Magazine. In this episode, we are also proud to present Michael Dean of Avamore Capital.
Michael is an award-winning bridging and development lender with over 14 years of property investment and development experience, specialising in the residential and office sectors. In 2009, Michael joined Doughty Hanson & Co, working for their Real Estate funds and during his spell at DHC, Michael was involved in over £350m of financing and refinancing of investment and development property.
In 2015, Michael co-founded Avamore Capital and currently acts as a Principle of the firm. "Avamore Capital initially started as the investment vehicle of a couple of family offices. We have now evolved the business into an institutionally backed bridging development lender focusing on 3 core areas; larger scale conversion projects (up to £5 million loan tickets), signature finish exits and also dead exits."
Duncan and Beth both speak to Michael about the current greatest influences on the sector, what Avamore Capital's competitive edge is and also if the bridging market is built solely on trust and if 'trust' can be classified as a type of "USP".
