What is it? According to Kayla Engle who wrote a blog entry for Flipgrid, she explained it as follows: AR stands for augmented reality, or the ability to “place” virtual elements in the physical world. With FlipgridAR, you can “stick” any Flipgrid video wherever you want by printing the video’s QR code and then scanning the QR code with the Flipgrid mobile app.
Don’t have the Flipgrid mobile app? Just use the camera on any smartphone and scan the QR code. It will open the video in a web browser, just without the AR components.
