Melissa Capo (College of St. Rose, Clinical Supervisor) is the developer of PEPtalks and an innovative advocate for project-based interventions. She published sentinel work in the area of traumatic brain injury and aphasia alongside Drs. Feeney and Ylvisaker in 2007.
In today's episode, Melissa will expand on the framework for project-based interventions and explain how it can be applied to working with aphasia and related disorders. She will discuss PEPtalks, which are positive-educational-peer reviewed videos for persons with brain injury by persons with brain injury. Melissa will also share her insight into the importance of supporting individuals to identify and carry out projects to the fullest extent possible.
