Like a frog in a pot slowly brought to a boil so that it won’t leap from the heat, the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show perfectly depicted how American women have been degraded to sexual objects and the value of their body parts. Speaking of parts, instead of frog legs all over the screen, viewers had to endure nearly every body part thrust at the camera with zoomed images of what would have once been rated R or XXX. The main sponsor – Pepsi - and the NFL could not have jammed this into the minds of millions of unsuspecting Americans ten years ago, but they felt confident in their strategy for 2020 because America is rapidly boiling in moral decay and sexual hedonism is now the norm.
Is there a better way? Is there a solution to the cess pool of Shakira and J. Lo’s misguided promotion of body parts that probably make men think they can grab ______…well, you know what I mean.Â
The answer is a resounding YES!!
Meet Jason Evert of The Chastity Project. He travels the world teaching teenagers and young adults about the difference between love and lust; the gift of self; and Pope John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. For twenty years, Jason has reached over two million youth with the truth that chastity is beautiful and good and the surest way in this sexually throttled culture to reach your goals and not lead others to hell.Â
Love. Marriage. Sex. Babies. In that order, says Jason, life is good. Out of that order, life will have far too many complications, set-backs, heartaches, unnecessary challenges and it would lead your soul to where it needs to go. Â
