Over the last 3 weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Ikor Labs to host engaging conversations with interesting people from all over the world. Given that we are all currently at home, Ikor had a plan to bring together inspiring folks from their community in what was dubbed as the connected project.
These conversations were recorded via live stream and for me it’s been an amazing opportunity to make new connections with fascinating people, each with their own unique journey and story to tell.
I always leave this discussions feeling motivated and fulfilled. I hope you’ll feel that way too after listening.
Today’s episode is with Thad Beaty and Annie Clements. Husband and wife rockstar duo who met, feel in love and continue to play alongside each other in the award winning group, Sugarland.
This is a wide ranging dialogue about their impeding parenthood, the day to day lives of working musicians and how they are staying creative in the midst of a global pandemic.
I also share with Thad our parallel journey to racing Ironman Arizona in 2012. The similarities are pretty epic. There’s plenty of great lessons and thoughts that come out of this one.
As always, thank you to Jon and the tam at Ikor for the support of the podcast and for the opportunity to host these important conversations. If you like to view the video version of this conversation, you can check it out here. Also as a special thanks, Ikor currently has 25% of all products on their website.
